I am a Unity
I am Gwen "Shadowsun" Broeckx. I work as a Unity game developer since 2014.
Working in different environments brought me valuable knowledge and experience these few last years.
Recently, I created my own company : Maratus. As a founder, I learned a lot about the administrative and funding side of the industry.
Launching ARISEN taught me how to manage and develop a game to full release.
I am currently working at Homo Ludens as a Senior Unity game developer on Blooming Business: Casino.
I highly value sensitivity, communication, teamplay/teamwork, benevolence, kindness and inclusivity. This reflects in my life, my work and my projects virtues.
When I have time, I like to make prototypes and experimental features such as holographic games or experiences. I like to discover the new features of Unity whenever they update the engine and sometimes, I lose myself in Amplify making shaders.
That is my main skill set! I am very proficient in C# and with Unity's workflow as they have been my everyday tools for more that 7 years.
I love - and am experienced in - making different tools in Unity. From simple Inspector views to more complex and customized windowed tools, I tend to put myself in other's shoes to see how I can improve their workflow.
I have some experience in shaders and tricks in Unity to make games juicier and more appealing. I feel comfier with Amplify regarding shaders.
Curious and eager to learn and improve my skills, I work as a Unity Game Developer, Unity Tool Developer and Unity Technical-Artist. Sometimes I make experimental things or teach Unity as lecturer.

Kiss Your Teacher Gamejam 2017
KYT is an annual event where participants have 48 hours to prototype an educational game. Onanagro Studio developed the prototype of "RE-PLAY", a music teaching game whose purpose is to support music or instrument teachers.

From 2015 to 2018 I participated in multiple trainings and learning workshops at Technocité. During this time, I had the opportunity to learn from people working directly in the industry and to participate in a lot of projects. I created 2 boardgames, a VR escape-game experience and over 10 videogames.
HEAJ — Haute École Albert Jacquard, Namur, Belgium
We were asked to create a complete game in one year as a team. The development of the game (Invocation) was abandoned in alpha state.
